Health & Safety

  • Health and Medical Conditions

    Participants should be in good health and free from any medical conditions that may be aggravated by the virtual reality experience. If you have a pre-existing medical condition, please consult with a healthcare professional before participating. This virtual experience might cause motion sickness.

  • Respectful Behavior

    Participants are expected to treat other participants, staff, and equipment with respect. Any form of disruptive or disrespectful behavior may result in immediate removal from the virtual reality game experience without a refund.

  • Hygiene

    Maintain proper hygiene by ensuring cleanliness before using the virtual reality equipment. Avoid wearing heavy perfumes or colognes. Every headset is carefully sanitized by our staff after every game player session.

  • Do I need special clothing?

    Please wear sensible footwear: flat shoes or trainers, no open toes or heels. We advise wearing just one layer, as you may get warm when being active in the Gamebox!

  • Can I wear my glasses?

    Yes, our VR equipment can be used with your glasses as long as they are not larger than average.

  • Can I drink alcohol beforehand?

    Players who are obviously drunk may be turned away by game leaders if their safety and that of their equipment could be at risk.

  • Can I get sick?

    We select our games very carefully so that nausea only occurs in exceptional cases. In such cases, there is a game leader who always looks after you.

  • I have epilepsy. Can I play VR?

    No, because there is a risk of epileptic seizures.

  • Age Requirement

    Participants must be 13 years of age or older to participate in the virtual reality game experience. Any participant below the age of 18 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Booking & Pricing

  • How much is a ticket?

    Our price is CHF25 per person Monday to Saturday for each experience.*

  • What is the minimum lead time for a booking?

    Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign the Experience Waiver and Release Form. Failure to do so may result in a loss of playing time. The game lasts between 15 and 20 min.

  • Are reservations required in advance?

    Although all our venues do accept walk in bookings, due to high demand we do recommend you book in advance to secure your game experience.

  • I have to cancel at short notice, what happens?

    Events that are booked can be canceled or postponed without any charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled time of the event. If an appointment is neither canceled nor postponed, or if it is canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, labaxetta AG reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee.

Gameplay

  • How many people can play at once?

    At least 1 and up to 4 guests play together. When you book your experience, the maximum number of players that can play in a given room will be indicated during the booking process. 

    All Sandbox VR games are specifically designed to be social experiences, and playing  in groups adds to the fun and excitement.

  • Photography and Recording

    Photography and recording inside the virtual reality area are strictly prohibited without prior consent from labaxetta AG.  This includes capturing screenshots or videos of the virtual reality content.

  • Time Limits

    Participants may be subject to time limits for their virtual reality sessions. Please be mindful of these limits to allow other participants to enjoy the experience.

  • Equipment Use

    a. Participants must use the provided virtual reality equipment responsibly and follow any instructions given by the staff.
    b. Do not attempt to modify or tamper with the equipment in any way.
    c. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the staff immediately.

  • Liability Waiver

    All participants, or their parents/legal guardians if under 18, must sign a liability waiver acknowledging the inherent risks associated with virtual reality gaming and releasing BaxVerse from any liability for injuries or damages incurred during the experience.

  • Reporting Issues

    If you encounter any issues or have concerns during the virtual reality experience, please notify the staff immediately.

The Experience

  • Will I be put with other people?

    No, you won’t be put in with another group. Bookings are private and you will only be joined in your Gamebox by those you booked to play alongside, even if there’s only 2 of you!

  • Can I still bring someone with me even if I have registered less?

    You can bring as many players as there are spaces in your booked game. The number of possible players is always in the description of the games.

  • Do you make your own games?

    We make our own experiences. Some of them are games, others will be adventures, they’ll all be as fun to play as they are to watch. With Serpent's Tail VR, you’re not just transported into new worlds – we want to give you the chance to become the characters in these worlds. That’s something you can’t do anywhere else!

  • Do you accept walk-ins?

    We recommend booking your experience online to secure your reservation. We do accept walk-ins based on availability and only accept payment via credit card. 

  • Can I celebrate my birthday party with you?
